The North is a place of heritage and beauty. A place where people pride themselves on making quality goods, having real relationships and keeping Scandinavian traditions alive. A conceptual brewery in NE Minneapolis, Lokal strives to uphold these ideals by making truly great Beer from the North. Lokal (Norwegian for local) means "to belong to a particular area.” For us, that area is coastless, known for frigid winters and has the best water sources in the world.
